The People of Illinois
We chose 5 real people from Illinois attractions to serve up and sell the tagline, "Discover the Heart of America" in Illinois. The result was authentic and immersive. A completely integrated campaign including print, outdoor, 40k banners, rich media banners, a landing page and a TV spot.

We shot "The People of Illinois" in their environment to add to the authenticity.
Website Integration
The story continues online, revealing more about, "The People of Illinois" and the attractions that are linked to their story and in the surrounding area.
40k and rich media banners
"The People of Illinois" telling their story in banner form. The collapsed state of the banners as well as the 40k's introduced the person with the line from TV & print, driving to the attraction detail pages on the site. Alternating glowing tool tips (like fireflies) begin the animation, the rollover state revealed a sentence or two about the person, surrounding attractions and something beyond the attraction.
Banner averages: CTR .8 / CPC $1.42 / Time in banner averaged 51 seconds.
